UI Youth Environmental Action 2020

The 9th UI Youth Environmental Action is an annual event held by the Environmental Department of Universitas Indonesia's Student Executive Council that gives students across the globe a platform to innovate and find a solution in hopes to materialize Sustainable Development Goals internationally. This year UI YEA carries a theme “The Year of Renewable Energy Transition for Global Benefits”.

Each team must then create either research-based paper or a community engagement paper appropriately according to the 2020 UI YEA’s three subthemes:
1. Innovation to improve renewable energy usage and efficiency

Efforts to increase the usage, efficiency, and effectiveness of renewable energy through the technological and scientific innovations

2.Green economy with the role of renewable energy

Effort to achieve the economy through renewable energy applications and assisting with more environmentally friendly economic activities

3.Expanding access and engagement of clean energy to the society

Efforts to maximize the spread of access and community involvement in clean and renewable energy, including increasing access to electricity and related infrastructure.
